Eventovate was announced as the winner of the Kildare manufacturing and distribution award at a blacktie event at the Kilashee House Hotel. The Company’s CTO, Jason Ruane accepted the award on behalf of the company and said he was “delighted to receive the recognition from the business community in the County”.

Jonathan Ruane, Managing Director of Eventovate has been named by Biz Plus Magazine as one of the “Top 40 Irish Entrepreneurs Under 40” for 2011. Having worked in Europe for a large American Multinational for several years, Jonathan returned to Ireland in 2008 to start Eventovate. Since then the company has gone from success to success and this award is a reflection of the work done by the entire Eventovate team.

Eventovate was recognised by The Irish Times as one of the Top 50 Irish technology and web companies according to their valuation and how likely they are succeed. The Tech 50 ranks companies incorporated on the island of Ireland within the last ten years. The list does not include companies that have floated on a recognised stock exchange or have been acquired by a larger industry player. Commenting on the announcement, Eventovate's Managing Director, Jonathan Ruane said that "it was an fantastic endorsement of what Eventovate has achieved in the 4 months since it launched and recognises the enormous value the company can add for its customer base".

Conor Lenihan T.D, Minister for Science, Technology, Innovation and Natural Resources, presented Eventovate Managing Director, Jonathan Ruane with a special award to recognise the company's success and achievements.

On the 12th May 2009 Eventovate won the Bank of Ireland Bright Ideas Challenge in recognition of their ‘ground-breaking new technology and innovative customer solutions”. The award comes with a €10,000 prize fund.
Bank of Ireland is Ireland’s leading business bank and supports the indigenous high-tech startup sector with its bi-annual Bright Ideas award. It seeks to identify the leading new business with:
- An innovative product or service
- An exciting export opportunity
- A company with high growth potential
- A strong management team
The judging panel included senior a Bank of Ireland business manager, a representative from an Irish governmental development agency and Sean Gallagher – a leading Irish entrepreneur and one of the Irish ‘Dragons Den’ investors.
